Link 2 home is the new state-wide telephone information and referral service for NSW, including regional NSW. It replaces the Housing NSW after hours Temporary Accommodation Line, The Homeless person’s line and the Y(youth)connect the line.
Role – assess clients needs; match their needs to support services; provide general support and assistance information and link people with non-SHS services or make a referral to SHS or Temporary accommodation.
They will provide 1 night emergency temporary accommodation and you will be advised to visit the local Housing NSW Office the following day for further advice and service.
